About:
Narmadaa joined the Trigatti Lab as a Ph.D. candidate in 2017. She completed a B.Tech. in Biotechnology at Anna University in Chennai, India and a M.Sc. in Biochemistry at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Outside of the lab, Narmadaa loves to explore the great outdoors and go hiking and camping. She also enjoys playing badminton.
Research focus: Narmadaa is investigating the role of the G-protein coupled receptor sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor type 1 in experimental atherosclerosis.
