About:
Jeong-Ah is a Ph.D. candidate at the Trigatti Lab. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2014 and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, majoring in Animal and Medical Biotechnology in 2016 at Yeungnam University in South Korea. Jeong-Ah was also a student researcher in the Translational Medicine Program at the SickKids Hospital in Toronto prior to joining the Trigatti Lab as a Biochemistry major in 2019.
Outside of research, Jeong-Ah is an adventurous and creative foodie. She loves trying new ingredients, discovering hidden gem restaurants, and immersing herself in the “food crawl” scene. Jeong-Ah also enjoys styling and decorating food into character shapes.
Research Focus:
Jeong-Ah is investigating the mechanism behind high-density lipoprotein (HDL) protection against chemotherapy-induced heart damage.
